Hello and welcome, I'm Catherine. Starting Fig & Joy gave me the reason to be creative again in my busy family working life. Having a purpose and commitment gives me the time to do what I love. I did not want to leave it later on in life as a retirement hobby, so I started a business. I do not do things by halves!
In 2021 I took the plunge and created my website. It certainly is a dream come true to be designing and selling my very own modern stationery which I have hand designed using a variety of different mediums.
I love designing and illustrating paper goods from my home studio in Coventry and from a very young age I've loved all things stationery. Playing with colour, shape and pattern I like to create designs that are both joyful and modern.
I've always since a little girl loved the feel of paper so it's no surprise that using the finest quality materials sourced in the UK is a priority around here, as well as being friendly to our planet. Another priority for me is being as sustainable as possible which you can read more about on my sustainability section.
