Printing & Sustainability
This distinctive tote bag is digitally printed and made in the UK using water based reactive inks onto 100% organic cotton which carry the oeko-tex standard 100 certificate. This boasts superior rub and wash fastness which is perfect for textiles, also due to the natural organic cotton there may be fabric flecks running through. It is Fig and Joy’s aim to help preserve our beautiful planet which you can read more about under the sustainability section.
Illustration Influences
All illustrations are hand designed by Catherine using a variety of different mediums from her home studio in Coventry. Inspired by her love of paper, simple shapes, pattern and modern design Catherine likes to keep things minimal and bold with floral and abstract influences which she considers beautiful. Responsibly creating beautiful and distinctive stationery that connects people brings great joy to Catherine and those that come into contact with Fig and Joy.
